The hill in the backdrop of Ringstead is very popular with Para-gliders who park up at the national trust car park and take off. there are a lot of videos on YouTube of people paragliding off the hill like the one below. Car parking at the top of the hill is free which makes it even more appealing if you don’t want to para-glide you can always go along and watch.
