RESERVATIONS

  • Reservations can be made online at www.visitringstead.com or over the phone
  • A Provisional reservations will be held for 7 days. A deposit of £100 plus a completed booking form is required to secure your reservation.  Your booking isn’t confirmed until VisitRingstead acknowledges your deposit payment
  • Final payment (full payment less deposit paid) is due 6 weeks before the start of your holiday
  • Payment can be made by Bank Transfer or cheque
  • Short break bookings must be paid for in full at the time of booking
  • Bookings made within 6 weeks of the start of your holiday must be paid in full at the time of booking

BOOKINGS

  • Bookings are normally for a minimum of one week, however we do take short breaks in the low and mid seasons (minimum of 2 nights). Please telephone for further details
  • The Hirer, whose name appears on the booking form, must be aged over 21
  • Holidays at The Creek Caravan Site or one of its holiday properties offer a quiet, back to nature family break, therefore groups of any kind are only permitted at the sole discretion of VisitRingstead. Hirers, where the majority of the party are less than 25 years of age (except families), should telephone in the first instance to check with VisitRingstead that we will take the booking
  • Children are up to the age of 16
  • The number of persons occupying a property must not exceed the maximum stated in the current property descriptions
  • VisitRingstead reserves the right to decline any booking or refuse to hand over a key to any person who does not comply with the booking conditions
  • No responsibility can be taken for misunderstandings that arise from telephone/verbal bookings. Please check your booking confirmation documents carefully and advise us of any discrepancy as soon as possible
  • Parking for one vehicle (caravans) and two (Cottage and Flat) is included in the tariff, please let us know in advance of your holiday if you require further parking spaces

PAYMENT OF BALANCE

  • The balance of your booking is due 6 weeks before the start of your holiday
  • No reminders are issued
  • Late payment may result in your holiday being cancelled and the deposit retained

CANCELLATIONS / BOOKING ALTERATIONS / INSURANCE

  • Once a booking is confirmed the Hirer is responsible for the total cost of the holiday
  • In the event of a cancellation VisitRingstead will endeavour to re-let the property and if successful may refund any monies paid less the deposit
  • Any changes to your holiday dates will be subject to the agreement of VisitRingstead and subject to an administration charge of £15
  • A request to transfer to a different property (unless it is a transfer between Caravans A, C and D) will be treated as a cancellation
  • We strongly recommend that you take out holiday insurance to cover cancellation

ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES

  • Occupancy is from 3pm on the day of your arrival to 10am on the day of your departure
  • We try to ensure all our holiday accommodation is ready as early as possible and we will allow access before 3pm, subject to your holiday property being ready. Please telephone 07725614246 on arrival and before entering the unit to check that the housekeepers have finished
  • Your holiday property will be open with the keys inside please make your way to the property to unload and then park your car in the designated parking slot
  • If you are arriving before 5.30pm someone will call round to see you to check you have everything you need. Please let us know if you are arriving after 5.30pm by calling 07725614246. If we do not hear from you and you have not arrived by 9.30pm we will lock the property and it may not be possible to gain entrance until 9am the following morning
  • A contact mobile telephone number must be given to VisitRingstead on arrival
  • Delays in departure from your holiday property will cause the housekeepers a lot of problems and therefore we request that you make every effort to leave by 10am. We reserve the right to enter the property at 10am on the day of departure
  • Please note that you are responsible for leaving your holiday property in as clean a condition as you found it in and ready for the next occupier. Cleaning materials are provided. We will make a cleaning charge where additional cleaning services are needed
  • If you prefer not to clean your property on departure please notify VisitRingstead at the time of booking (or on arrival) and we can arrange for a cleaner to come in for the additional cost of £25 for caravans and £30 for the Cottage or Flat

DESCRIPTION
Whilst we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the descriptions of the holiday accommodation available and the amenities these are for guidance only. Please contact us if there is an item on which you need calcification

DOGS

  • Please be aware some Caravans do not allow dogs, please check before booking. If the Hirer brings a dog to one of these caravans VisitRingstead is entitled to terminate the letting immediately and the Hirer remains liable for the total cost of the holiday. No refund will be offered
  • The maximum number of dogs allowed in The Creek Holiday Flat, Coast Path Cottage and Caravans A, C, D, 4 & 24 is two. The maximum number of dogs allowed in all other caravans (that allow dogs) is one
  • All dogs must be kept under strict control at all times while in the holiday property, gardens or on the Caravan Site
  • If requested to do so by VisitRingstead the dog owner must keep his her dog on a lead at all times. Dogs are not allowed to run loose around the Caravan Site or to enter other caravans
  • Any fouling must be cleared up immediately. There is not a specific waste bin so please put all ‘poo’ bags in a rubbish bag before putting in the outside bins. Do not put in the compost bins
  • The dog owner must bring their own dog bedding and additional protection for the seating areas and carpets to minimise dirt and dog hairs being left
  • Dogs are not allowed in the bedrooms or on the beds/bedding at anytime
  • Dogs cannot be left in the property unattended at any time
  • It is the responsibility of the dog owner to ensure all evidence of the dog having been staying in the holiday property is removed before departure

HIRE OF EQUIPMENT
Linen, child bed guards, travel cot & duvet, BBQs may be hired subject to availability. Please note your requirements on the booking form

CARS ON SITE/PARKING

  • Cars are allowed on the Caravan Site between 8am and 10pm for loading and unloading purposes only
  • Cars are not allowed to be parked between Caravans
  • There is one parking space provided per Caravan and two parking spaces provided for Coast Path Cottage and The Creek Holiday Cottage. You must contact VisitRingstead if you are hoping to bring more than one car
  • Parking is provided outside the Site only unless you are staying in Caravan D. All parking spaces within the Site are for Caravan Owners only
  • We do not permit the use of mini scooters, quad bikes, battery driven child’s sized cars/trucks without prior permission

DAMAGES

  • The Hirer agrees to pay £100 cash damages deposit on arrival if requested to be held by VisitRingstead for the duration of the let
  • The hirer is held responsible for the contents of the Holiday Home whilst in their possession. Breakages and damage to your holiday property should be reported to VisitRingstead as soon as possible and before departure
  • Any damages, breakages, cleaning charges or late departure charges will be deducted from the deposit before being returned to the Hirer on departure

LIABILITY

  • VisitRingstead, the property owners or Ringstead Caravan Company Ltd cannot accept responsibility for any accident, mishap, material loss, damage, additional expense or inconvenience directly or indirectly caused to the Hirer or his/her party by or arising out of the property and its plumbing, gas, electrical or otherwise or exceptional weather
  • No responsibility is accepted for loss or damage of property (including pets),vehicles or vehicle contents belonging to the Hirer or any member of the Hirer’s party during occupancy
  • Neither VisitRingstead nor Ringstead Caravan Company Ltd, nor the Owners of the Holiday Properties shall be liable for any death, injury, loss or damage, directly or indirectly sustained by or occasioned to any person (including persons under the age of 18 years) save in so far as such death or injury results from the negligence of the said VisitRingstead nor Ringstead Caravan Company Ltd, nor the Owners of the Holiday Properties as defined in the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977
  • If for any reason beyond the control of VisitRingstead we have to cancel or alter accommodation arrangements made for you we will make every effort to offer an alternative property if one is available. If you do not accept the alternative offered we will return to the Hirer any monies paid, whereupon VisitRingstead’s liabilities will cease
  • The Hirer is responsible for the supervision of children and adults with learning difficulties at all times

COMPLAINTS

  • If in the opinion of the Hirer there are grounds for complaint, it is the duty of the Hirer to take it up with VisitRingstead immediately and in any event before departure to allow remedial action to be taken
  • It is specifically agreed that failure by the Hirer to notify VisitRingstead of any complaint in accordance with the timescales above will entitle VisitRingstead to refuse to entertain the complaint, irrespective of its merits

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • NOISE visitors are encouraged to respect the ethos of the Site and the area which is one of quiet enjoyment and the comfort of other people staying on Site. Radios, tablets, computers and televisions should not be used in such a way as to disturb your neighbours. Playing music outside the Caravans, Cottage or Holiday Flat is not allowed
  • BBQs gas and charcoal BBQs are allowed subject to them being used in a safe manner. Throw away charcoal BBQs should not be placed on the grass, tables or inside any of the Caravans, Coast Path Cottage or The Creek Holiday Flat. Please ask for, or find, a stone slab to use as a base for your throw away BBQ. Used charcoal from your BBQ should not be thrown into the wheelie bins. Apart from the mess this causes it is a fire risk and has in the past caused damage to the bins. Please wait until your charcoal is completely cold and then throw it into the grass cuttings area beside the bins and put the metal tray in the recycling box (not the general waste bin)
  • BICYCLES are allowed on Site and at The Creek Holiday Flat as long as they are ridden in a safe and controlled manner. Riders may be banned if this request is not adhered to
  • NON SMOKING all our properties are non-smoking. Anyone found smoking inside or having disconnected the smoke alarms will be asked to leave immediately with no refund
  • BOATS please let VisitRingstead know if you intend to bring a boat with you. It is possible to book storage space in the dinghy park or to leave your boat on the beach for the duration of your visits. Boats cannot be stored beside Caravans
  • WINCH if you need assistance getting your boat onto the beach it is possible to arrange for a member of staff to help you by operating the electric winch. Please contact VisitRingstead before your arrival to discuss arrangements
  • LAUDERETTE FACILITIES on Site there is a washing machine, spin dryer, sink and iron and ironing board. The washing machine is coin operated. Coast path Cottage and The Creek Holiday Flat have their own washing machine (included in the price for the holiday)
  • GAZEBOS / TENTS / LARGE SUN SHADES are not allowed on Site as they restrict the view at the back of the Site
  • USE OF SWIMMING POOL – Restricted use available for those staying at The Creek Holiday Flat and Caravans A, C, B & D only and access is not guaranteed, but is subject to individual arrangements made on arrival. A small donation of £10 towards the cost of heating and cleaning materials is encouraged at the start of your holiday should you choose to use the facilities. All children under 18 must be supervised by an adult when in the pool area. Dinghies, surfboards and large inflatables are not encouraged
