The Creek House, the family home of the Fishers, is tucked away down a private no-through track known as Fisher’s Place. Sleeping 4 in two bedrooms (space for a further 3 guests), the Flat is completely self-contained and offers stunning views, a large garden, use of a heated swimming pool next door and direct access on to the beach

Boarded to the north by National Trust farmland and to the south by the large area of lawn leading down to the sea, The Creek Holiday Flat offers a perfect 'get away from it all' holiday

Designed to take 4/5 people comfortably The Flat comprises two bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin), a sitting room with dining alcove, a fully fitted kitchen, a separate toilet and a bathroom with power shower over. Guests have the use of a separate laundry room with indoor and outdoor drying areas and, by private arrangement with Mr &Mrs Fisher, access to the heated swimming pool.

There are options for you to increase the size of your party by an additional two/three guests (maximum 7 guests in total) during your stay (see Bedrooms below). We suggest, however, that you might want to limit any additional guests to short stays, say 2/3 nights, to avoid any feeling of over-crowding.

Bedrooms

There are two bright south facing bedrooms, one double and one with twin beds. Each room is comfortably furnished with built in wardrobe and ample storage. The double room also has a vanity unit. Both these rooms look out over the garden and across the sea to Portland.

Additional sleeping arrangements are provided by a double sofa bed in the sitting room and a built in, full sized couch/bed in the corridor if required.

Sitting Room

The charming sitting room with its Purbeck stone fireplace also faces south with direct sea views. It has a dining alcove and is furnished with comfortable chairs and a sofa bed. There is also a bay window with a glass door leading to the patio, garden and beach.

Kitchen

The fully fitted kitchen is on the north side of the flat, facing the National Trust farmland and chalk hills behind. It has a modern electric cooker with ceramic hob, a fridge-freezer, a microwave oven, a stainless steel sink unit, a dishwasher, an electric whisk, a slow cooker - in fact everything you might require. There is a drop down breakfast bar which provides additional work surface as well as the opportunity to eat breakfast while looking out over the stable door to the hills behind.

Bathroom

There is a modern bathroom suite with a fixed shower over the bath.

Additionally there is a separate toilet.

Laundry

A separate laundry room with automatic washing machine, spin drier, iron and board is available for you to use. There are drying racks available in the laundry and a rotary washing line in the garden.

Patio/Garden

The glass door from the sitting room leads on to the large patio where there is a table and chairs and plenty of space for a BBQ (not provided).

The large mature garden beyond is shared with the tenants in the upstairs apartment (and occasionally members of the Fisher family), but there is plenty of space for all. The garden leads directly down to the beach – part of the world famous Jurassic Coast that goes through Ringstead.

Amenities

The rent includes the cost of heating, hot water and all electricity. Duvets pillows and blankets are provided. Linen can be provided (at an extra charge) if you prefer not to bring your own.

Swimming Pool

There is a heated swimming pool in the private gardens of Mr and Mrs Fisher, adjacent to the Holiday Flat, which is available for guests to use subject to agreeing availability times with Mr and Mrs Fisher, on arrival. A small donation towards the heating/maintenance costs is appreciated.

Calender and Booking Form

  • Use this form for week long bookings starting on a FRIDAY
  • To make a booking you must click on the FRIDAY you are arriving and then click on the THURSDAY before you leave. Remember you are booking ‘nights’ starting with Friday night. Your last night will be the following Thursday night
  • On receipt of your booking an invoice for the £100 deposit will be sent. Payment is due within 7 days to secure the booking
  • Final payment (less deposit paid) is due 6 weeks before the start of your holiday. An invoice for the final amount will be sent out at the same time as the deposit invoice
  • All bookings start at 3pm on the day of arrival and finish at 10am on the day of departure
  • We do not normally accept bookings of parties of all male, all female or young people please get in contact before booking
