Durdle Door must be one of the most photographed landmarks of the Jurassic Coast. It is a naturally formed limestone arch caused by the softer rocks being eroded by the sea. It has featured in many films including ‘Far From the Madding Crowd’, ‘Nanny McPhee’ and ‘Wilde’. Today it is peaceful spot for swimming and a picnic with the kids.
