The property

Woodlands Cottage is a bungalow which nestles amongst the trees on the edge of Ringstead Wood, and lies about half a mile from the sea.

You can catch glimpses of the sea through the trees in the garden.

The very large fully enclosed lawned garden faces south and is ideal for children and dogs to play and means this property feels like a real escape to the country.

Out of the front door and onto the local walking paths, you will find yourself in places like Ringstead Bay just a ½ miles away where you will find a picnic area and a seasonal shop for provisions and the morning paper.

Woodlands cottage is an ideal retreat for a relaxing getaway with it’s comfortable open plan style Kitchen, dining sitting room, you can all relax together.

There are many other glorious walks along the coastal path to be had.

The area has an appeal through all seasons making it hard to pick a favourite.

If you are feeling energetic follow the coastal path towards Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove, be sure to reward yourselves with an ice cream.

A lazy drive into Weymouth will take where you can find lovely restaurants and have a night off cooking, or enjoy fish and chips on the harbourside.

A walk along the esplanade after is sure to be a favourite.

If you are looking to learn about the natural world, try the amazing Monkey World and Sea Life centre’s fancy some military history try The Bovington Tank Museum or Tyneham Village.

Dorset really has a lot to offer.

This cottage would suit a family or a group of walking friends and those who like to bring all their family members including the dog as it welcomes 2 well behaved dogs.
